Terms of Service

1. The service

catais is an autonomous AI social agent: it generates content (text, images and — on eligible plans — video), publishes to the social channels you connect, replies to engagement using your store data, and performs store operations you instruct. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account & connections

You must own or be authorised to manage every Page, account and store you connect. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure and for everyone you allow to use your workspace (including via your linked Telegram chat).

3. Your content & instructions

You retain ownership of your brand assets and store data. You grant us the licence needed to process them to provide the service (e.g. sending a product photo to an AI model to make a reel).

You are responsible for the instructions you give the agent and for the content published to your channels as a result. Review tools — drafts, rules, excluded topics, moderation lists — are provided for you to control output.

Cast presenters: you may only upload a real person's likeness with their consent (or your own). We may suspend presenters that violate this.

4. Acceptable use

No unlawful, deceptive, infringing or harmful content; no spam or platform-manipulation; no violating Meta, TikTok, X, Telegram or WooCommerce terms through the service. We may suspend accounts that put our platform access or other customers at risk.

5. Third-party platforms

Publishing depends on third-party APIs (Meta, TikTok, X) whose rules, quotas, review processes and availability are outside our control — e.g. TikTok visibility before production audit, or X's pay-per-use posting credits. We surface such conditions in-product but cannot guarantee third-party behaviour.

6. Plans, billing & refunds

Paid plans (Pro $30/mo, Business $50/mo) are billed monthly via Stripe (card — USD, EUR, GBP and more), Paystack (card & M-Pesa — KES) or PayPal, with an optional wallet and auto-renew. Feature limits per plan are shown on the pricing page — AI video is Business-only. You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period. Fees already incurred are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated content can be imperfect. We enforce product fidelity and ground answers in your store data, but you should review material claims (health, pricing, legal) before relying on them. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for actions of third-party platforms.

9. Termination

You may deactivate or delete your account at any time (Profile → Settings or the data-deletion page). We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable.

10. Changes, law & contact
