What exactly does catais do?+
catais is an autonomous AI social agent. It researches topics, designs on-brand images, generates talking video reels and multi-scene skits, writes captions in your voice, publishes on your schedule, replies to comments and DMs with live store data, and moderates spam — across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X.
What do I need to start?+
A Facebook Page (Instagram optional, linked via Meta), and optionally a WooCommerce store. Sign in with Google, connect your pages, brief the agent, set a schedule, and activate. The Free plan needs no card.
How is catais different from a scheduling tool?+
Schedulers post what you make. catais makes the content itself — research, design, video, captions — and also handles the conversations afterwards. You set rules; it does the work.
Content & video
How do the AI reels and skits work?+
catais animates your real product photos into vertical 9:16 video. A presenter speaks a hook in your brand voice with lip-sync; skits are scripted in 2–4 scenes, each scene is generated, then they're edited into one continuous video and your exact logo is overlaid before publishing.
What is Cast?+
Cast is your persistent AI presenter. Create one from a description (photoreal human, 2D cartoon, or 3D animated) or upload your own consented likeness. The same character then stars in every reel, skit and graphic for a recognisable brand face.
Will the agent invent product details?+
No. Product fidelity is enforced: packaging and labels are reproduced from your real photos, and the agent is forbidden from inventing prices, ingredients or claims. Customer-facing answers come from your live WooCommerce data.
Which plan includes video?+
AI video (reels and skits) is on the Business plan ($50/mo). Free and Pro produce image + text posts.
Control & store
How do I control the agent?+
Three ways: the web dashboard, the in-dashboard AI chat, and a Telegram bot — all powered by the same brain. Ask anything in plain language: “sales on June 2”, “top customers by spend”, “add category Herbs to Pokeroot powder”, “make a skit of Blackseed Oil”.
What store operations can it do?+
Products (create, edit price/stock/description, categories), coupons, order lookups by number, per-product sales, per-customer order history, top-customer rankings, date-range analytics, low-stock alerts, and more — with full read/write on your WooCommerce store.
What is Autopilot?+
Store-reactive posting. When you add a product, drop a price, or stock runs low, catais automatically publishes a post (or a reel on Business) about it — deduped and throttled so it never spams.
Safety, billing & data
How does moderation work?+
You keep an auto-delete list (AI can generate one tailored to your business). Comments matching it — scams, spam, abuse — are deleted on sight, before the agent ever replies. Sensitive data like order totals and addresses is only ever shared in private DMs.
How do I pay?+
Card or M-Pesa via Paystack, or PayPal — from the site or directly inside Telegram. A wallet with auto-renew keeps your subscription active automatically.
Can I delete my data?+
Yes. You can deactivate or permanently delete your account (and all stored data) from Profile → Settings, or follow the steps on our data-deletion page.
Is AI-generated content labelled?+
We follow each platform's AI-content policies, and we never clone a real person's likeness without consent — uploads require that you own the rights to the image.
